ReplyDeleteYea. The hunting of the lion and the unending starvation......
DeleteThis is true. When ever I read about something I can fell or taste it.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do. When a book makes you cry at the end, i believe the author has reached his/her purpose!
Deletethis reminds me of a book i read in sixth grade

DeleteIn The Graveyard book it would make me feel for the characters.
ReplyDeleteGulheim did it for me! What a scary place! Neil Gaiman's imagery brought blood skies to a whole new level. Never mind Miss Lupescu carrying Bod
Deletein a ripped bag......
when im reading somthing I can almost imagine seeing it
ReplyDeleteThink of A Long Walk to Water. I was really thirsty and hungry most of the time. I also scratched my arms when the mosquitoes came......

DeleteWhen ever someone read a to me I imagine that I'm with the characters and the settings.
ReplyDeleteThe setting of The Giver was hard for me to imagine. Once Lois Lowry revealed more detail about the community my imagination soared! By the end of the novel I pretty much was living next door to The Giver!
Deletewhen I read books I imagine the characters and pretend I'm there in the book
ReplyDeleteSo do I! I need to have plenty of description for a novel to capture my attention. A good mystery usually does the trick:)
Deletewhen I read Wake up missing I could almost feel the pain and disappointment that all the kids felt when they were betrayed by Dr. Ames
ReplyDeleteYes! Their physical reactions of fear and betrayal made me worried.
